Over-the-counter drugs (OCD) are those approved by health surveillance entities, such as Anvisa in Brazil, to be commercialized without a medical prescription, and destined to treat minor conditions. In such cases, it is fundamental that they are strictly used in conformity with the guidance indicated in their leaflets and packaging.
